Embrace Self-Gratitude This Thanksgiving: A Powerful Tool for Personal Growth and Mental Health

As we approach Thanksgiving, we often think of things we’re thankful for—family, friends, and good health.

However, I want to give you a new challenge this year for practicing gratitude. Self-gratitude!

Embracing self-gratitude isn’t just positive thinking, it’s a powerful tool that encourages personal growth.

(And there’s nothing I love more than opportunities for personal growth!)

Self-gratitude also improves mental health and encourages goal achievement.

Each morning, write down one thing you appreciate about yourself or a recent achievement.

You don’t have to write a whole paragraph, just quick bullet points.

A simple practice like this can make a lasting impact on your life and how you approach the holiday season.

If you’re not big into writing you can also try daily affirmations or having reflection time at the end of the day to review your accomplishments.

This Thanksgiving, be grateful not just for what you have but for who you are and who you are becoming.
